How to become Drug Inspector in MP? Can I apply for Drug Inspector after B.Pharmacy


How to become Drug Inspector in M.P. and can I apply for drug inspector after b.pharmacy m i eligible for the D.I without any experience ?


Which exam will be conduct for Drug Inpector and when in m.p.?]

Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states.

Drug Inspector Eligibility Criteria:
  • You should have degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or, Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or, Microbiology from a recognized university
  • Your age should not be less than 21 years and not greater than 32 years
Relaxation in upper age
5 years for SC/ST
3 years for OBC

Examination Procedure:
1.Written exam
2.Interview

Manufacturing opharmacy
Pharmaceutical analysis
Medical chemistry
Pharmacology & toxiolog
Hospital & clinical opharmacy

Drug Inspector is a job which concerneds every single citizen of India. Under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act of 1945 the job of drug inspector is to visit establishments where drugs , cosmetics and similar itels are either manufactured or stored and make sure that the establishment is following the legal standards set by the state and central govenment related to sanitation, purity and grading.

Drug Inspector will check the hygine habits of the persons that are handling these products and if found that rules and regulations imposed by the government are not being followed, he may immediately seal the establishment and take further action against the people responsible.

This practice ensures the health of people of India. Drug inspector also have the power to collect the sample of cosmetics or related products and send them to laboratory for analysis. By doing this, he/she ensures that there is no such product in the market that could impact the health of consumer in any way.

To become drug inspector whether for central government of state government, all candidates are required to appear in a entrance exam. This exam is conducte by UPSC in case of central government while on state level such as Madhya Pradesh in your case, each state conducts its own exam under the guidelines of PSC.

You can found out about the job vaccancies in the employment newspaper and other leading newspapers in the state. The entire admission process including where to obtain admission form with complete details is mentioned in the job post. The eligibility criteria may differ from each state but still there are some common requirements.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

Education:

Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine from a recognized university in India.


Age Limits :

You should be between 21 to 33 years to appear in the exam.

There is a 3 years relaxation of upper age limit for OBC candidates.

SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation on the upper age limit.

for the post of drug inpector exam is conducted by the state public serivce commission i.e of that state in which u r applying like M.P. in your case.

in case 2 apply central level it is conducted by upsc
www.upsc.gov.in

all d detail info u will get in these sites



for a b.pharma student there is need of minimum 18 month experience.
i think u should get experience first and then apply for the exam


if u have the experience right nw there is a vacency in andhra pradesh as well as in tamil nadu.
for M.P. u have to wait .

Source, Chemical constituents, uses and adulteration of the following classes of natural drugs, Rauwalfia, Epecacuhana, Belladona, Chinchona, Cinnamon, Digitalis, Senna, Alloe, Noxvomica, Opium Alkoloid, Kurchi, Brahmi, Tulsi, Bael and Ephedra.



UNIT – VI – PHARMACOLOGY & TOXIOLOG.



Introduction and general principle :-



Mode of action, drug receptor interaction, drug antagonist, absorption, distribution, metabilisim and exerition, rate of administration, Bioavailability, drug dependence and addiction, drug abuse and toxicity, drug adverse reaction, Drug allergy and Biostatics.



UNIT – VII – HOSPITAL & CLINICAL OPHARMACY –



Handling of prescription, Incompatibility, Storage condition of drug, Clinical Pharmacy and its role in Hospital.
