What is the scope of E & TC Engineering in India now a days ?

Biotechnology may be as old as human civilization but modern biotechnology is less than three decades old.

Scope of Biotechnology : -

** Genetic Engineering

** Genetic Engineering of Microbes

** Plants and animals (Including marine animals)

Genetic Engineering implies conferring new capabilities on an organism by transferring into an organism the DNA.

well, the real fact about scope of biotechnology in india is zero, i am also graduate student of biotech and i have face alot of problems being as a biotech student.... i have scored 71% aggregate degree in biotech. so personally i suggest you go for the other options if you have! all the best for your future......

dear just go ahead, you have a lots of option 1. do MBA Biotech 2. do Msc biotech then you are eligible for NET LIfe science after that u can do phd or JRF or Lectureship.

You got also enough financial support - if u qualified net you will got 16000 + HRA/PM

After PHD when you go to the lecureship u got 39000 to 67 thousand as per gov rule ...

What is the reach of B.Tech (Bio-Technology) student in the current scenario.
