SLET Stands fro State Level Eligibility Test.
SLET is Generally Known as SET Examination.
SET Exam is conduct by State Public Service Commission.
SET and NET Exam is Same Main Difference between these is that NET is All India level and SET is State Level Exam.

Required Qualifications::-

Education: you must complete our post graduation degree course in any discipline from recognize University.
Age Limit: your age must between 21 - 30 years.
Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates.

Examination Pattern::

There are two Section in SET Exam.


Section A => Marks 150

General English
Quantitative
General Awareness
Analytical & Logical Reasoning


Section B => Marks 100

English
Design Aptitude

Gujarat State Eligibility Test is the entrance exam for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship for the colleges that are controlled or funded by the government of Gujarat.

The Gujarat SET exam generally takes place in September/October. This year the exam is scheduled to take place on 22th September, 2013. If you haven't registered already then I am afraid you can not apply for the exam this year.

The last date to register for the Gujarat SET 2013 was 03 - 07 - 2013. You can not apply for the exam anymore. You should wait till next year to apply. However if you did applied then better check whether you have been selected to appear for the exam or not.

Sometimes the details and fee of candidates does not reach in time which is why they are disqualified from appearing for the exam. If all is good then your name should be in the list of valid candidates.


GUJ SET Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen to apply.

2. Must have either completed or should be in final year of post graduation.

3. Your marks should be 55 percent in post graduation.

4. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PH.

5. There is no relaxation for the OBC candidates.

6. Final year candidates must submit the degree/mark sheet within 2 years of clearing the exam else they will be disqualified.

7. The subject for the exam will depend on your post graduation degree.

8. Age limit is 19 years to 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship.

9. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

10. SC/ST gets 5 years relaxation as per norms of UGC.

11. No upper age limit for lectureship candidates.
