respected sir, what are qualifications for t.c. in indian railways? please tell me about this post? i am the student of F.Y. science_I.T. so what can i do now? sir how many persentage i required in S.Y. for this post?

Indian Railways is the biggest railway network in Asia. It is the world's highest public sector holding millions of employes. It is used for transportation of goods to industries, power production factories and also used for public transport. It is the cheapest and fastest means of transport. It conducts several exams every year for the posts of different sections in railways like section engineers, wagon and wheels, loco pilots,ticket collectors,clerks and so on. The duty of the ticket collector is to check whether the passenger is carrying valid and rightful ticket while he/she is travelling in the train. Eligibility Criteria:
* Candidate must have passed 10th class with 50% and above.
* Candidate must be passed in the written exam known as RRB exam conducted by the Indian Railways in 16 zones in our country.
* The age limit is between 18 to 30 years.
The exam consists of General knowledge, Aptitude, Mathematics and Science as subjects.

INDIAN RAILWAYS

Qualification required for Ticket Collector for getting jobs in Indian Railways are :-

Educational qualification :-

• You should be Intermediate passed out in any discipline.
• English should be Known to you.

Marks :-

• For SC/ST Category - 50% in 10+2.
• For General/OBC Category - 55% in 10+2.

Age :-

• Minimum age - 18 years.
• Maximum age - 28 years.

Age Relaxation Category Wise :-

• OBC Category - 3 years.
• SC/ST Category - 5 years.
• Physically Handicapped/Widows - 10 years.

Exam Pattern :-
-->>There will be 4 sections.
-->>Total marks will be 200.
-->>Total duration will be 2 hours.

Syllabus :-
-->>General Knowledge - 50 questions.
-->>English Grammer - 50 questions.
-->>Reasoning - 50 questions.
-->>Numerical Ability - 50 questions.

Age:

*18-30 years of age.

* There is an age relaxation of 3 yrs for obc , 5yrs for sc/st & 10 yrs for Handicapped.

Selection Process requires 2 steps:-

1. You have to first clear exam conducted by RRB(Railway Recruitment Board)

2. Then the qualified persons are given a training for several duration.

The required qualification for the post of ticket checker in indian railway is 10th pass from a recognised central or state board with minimum 50% of marks.
The age of the candidate should be in between 18 years to 28 years for general category.
However, there is age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
