Hi,

I am a software programmer and I have done MCA from IGNOU, but my percentage is not as enough to take admission in PHD. So Can we do MSC.IT from Sikkim Manipal University and then can I eligible for PHD from any regular university ?

If yes then MBA.IT or MSC.It which is best for an IT professionals.

Please reply ASAP.

You have completed MCA degree with low percentage so it will create some problem in PHD admission .

You have two option to enter PHD course -

If you have qualify in NET exam .For NET exam , you must have 55% marks in MCA degree .

The another way you can enter to PHD course to qualify in GATE exam .If you have GATE score then you can easily apply for PHD course.

The most popular option for you go for lectureship in some private college .After getting 3 years experience you can apply PHD programe through QIP .

If you want to do higher study the you can try for m.Phil in computer science not in MBA or M.Sc .
