Structural Analysis III is used in Civil Engineering which deals with qualitative analysis of materials with or without mathematical calculations. It is another type of analytical chemistry that seeks to understand the roles of various materials. The course curriculum highlights the kinematic indeterminacy to study the stability quotient, structure type and movements adopted by the structure; Mohr’s theorems to calculate the degree of deflections and movements of structures (both determinate and indeterminate types); moment distribution which is a practical method of analysing structures and virtual work theories to develop ideas about simple basic problems on advanced structures. Other topics essentially cover Macaulay’s method which is a method of analysis used for indeterminate structures such as frames in general and beams and plastic analysis which examines the load capacity of structures, mainly frames, on the basis of certain properties. The methods are used to penetrate deep into the matter for industrial purpose.
