My question is that,,,, i m giving AIEEE examz and i want to get the admission for engineering in Karnataka...... I have not applied for the karnataka CET examz ,,, so is it necessary to give the state cet exam or AIEEE examz will help me in the admission????????
If it is necessary then can i get now apply for the cet exam?????? N plz guide me the process for the same............

you need something for backup...

No Its not necessary but i think you should have applied for Karnataka CET just for backup. You can get into some colleges which consider AIEEE score but year don't forget AIEEE is tougher than KCET.

Sorry But Last date of Submitting KCET forms is over

The last date to submit KCET form was 20th March 2010 and exam is on 28th and 29th April 2010

Score well in AIEEE...

Anyways no problem you try to score well and try to get into top colleges of India so that you wont have to bother about Karnataka colleges

there is need to give the karnataka cet because not every one scores well in aieee and the competition is all India level,but thats not the case with karnataka-cet,the exam is bit easier and and the competition is less,
so its better to write both the exams

it depend upon the college whether it is included in the aieee college list or not.......if aieee provide any seats for that college then you just write aieee exam otherwise you have to appear for karnatak cet exam also.............

just appear for both the exam..........

no if you are talking about any college in karnatak then you have to appear for KCET as this exam is for only karanataka colleges....................

if you are talking about some specific college and if it comes under aieee college then you have to give aieee exam...........

You can get the admission in karnataka colleges if your score is so good.........but if you give the cet exam i think is not a bad idea.........
If you wanna to join in karnataka then i think you have to go for the cet exam because bychane or unluckily if you not got the college through the aieee then.........

Sorry but your rank is too low for admission into NITs. But you can apply for some colleges who consider AIEEE as an eligiblity like some of the maharashtra colleges like PDPU. Even DA IICT,Motilal.

But i would advise you to go for you state local college as it may be easier to get.

If you want admission in Karnataka engineering colleges, then AIEEE is enough, but it needs to made sure that you score really well so that you are eligible for state counselling.
However, it will be best if you even give CET to be on the safer side.
