MCA stands for Masters in Computer Application. It is a post graduation course and its duration is three years. The whole course has been broken into six semesters and in the last year you will be asked to do specialization in the following subjects:-

• Application Software
• Development
• Engineering
• Hardware Technology
• Internet
• Software Development Networking
• System Management
• Trouble Shooting

To do MCA you need to complete your graduation first to pursue this course. You should have minimum 60% of marks at graduation level. You should have mathematics at 10+2 level and it can be your subject at graduation level too.

Final year students who are about to give their final qualifying exam are also eligible to give this examination. There is no age criteria to follow as such.

Most of the top institutes prefers to take a written examination when selecting students interested in pursuing this course.
