I completed my B.Tech(CSE) in 2010 and now im searching for government job, what kind of job i can get in government sector

Government jobs can be varied into different categories mainly the adminsitrative side jobs and the defense side jobs.

Many government jobs available for B.Tech (CSE). candidates. Some government organization are as follows: -

1. BSNL
2. MTNL
3. Reliance Telecommunication Ltd.
4. SAIL
5. NTPC
6. Power Grid
7. State Electricity Board ........... etc. .......

Eligibility: -

1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years
for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

Note: - A candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.

Indian Telephone Industries
IT department of government organisations.

Computer science engineers can begin their career as junior programmers and grow at a very fast pace to become Systems analysts and project leaders etc. You can also join PSUs as an engineer trainee.

Besides you can also find government job as IAS officer, bank POs, railway jobs.

You can apply in ISRO,indian railway and many more. But as per your branch i think it's better to prepare for software sector in private company like TCS,IBM,WIPRO etc.

For computer science department have many scope in govt sector. but in private sector their is huge scope.

They can join in the given below govt sector

1.rail.

2.PWC.

3.NTPC.

4.DVC.

5.ONGC.

6.BHEL.

7.ONGC.

8.BSNL

9.BANK JOB

10.FCI

etc.

But private sector have better scope than govt sector. There are so many private company. Like TCS, CTS ,IBM ,HP ,L&T ,SATYAM etc.

Yes you can definately appear the Government exams after Engineering in Computer Science. Manny government exams are come for CS students, So you can attend the exam of JTO BSNL , ISRO , DRDO and all computer related exam.........
