The minimum eligiblity creteria for bca is 12th pass and to get admission in bca in delhi university, then you have to pass with minimum 60% marks in 12th exams with maths.
without maths in 12th, you will not get admission in delhi university.

If you are from science stream you should have math as your major subject with 60% score in 12th.

According to your percencentage of class 12th.

there is a cut-off and if you are eligible you can also get a direct admission in DU.

dear friend,
it is not matter how much marks you have there is not a fixed percentage of marks for the du,the cutoff marks varies every year,so it may be more than 90% or may be 65%.like this year the approx 35 % sheet in du is vacant till now for this year so for that sheet there is minimum marks required.

you should have PCM combination in 12th.


without maths in 12th, you can't get admission in delhi university.

The eligibility for admission in DU is just 60% marks in PCM.
A biology student without maths can't apply for BCA in DU.

& every year cut-off is very high, so if your percentage is very good, then you will sure take admission in BCA.
Otherwise you will have to wait until all seats will fill, & at that situation you have a less chance.

kindly fill-up your form first, & wait for cut-off marks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

For getting admission in delhi university for BCA courses, an applicant must be passed their 12th from approved school with minimum of 60%.
The candidate must have the mathematics as a main subject in 12th.
Because for BCA mathematics is needed, so a student must have the knowledge of mathematics.

BCA in DU requires a 10+2 degree with mathematics , science and physics subjects. Course duration is of 3 years for BCA course. However it depends upon university into which you are applying , like in MDU Rohtak, it would require only 12th degree they are not concerned with subjects.

To apply for the BCA course in Delhi university a candidate should have the following eligibility:

1.10+2 with minimum of 60% marks or above.
2.A candidate should have mathematics at 10+2.

So to apply for the BCA course in Delhi university you should have the above eligibility i.e 10+2 with mathematics and 60% marks in XII.

The duration for this course is of 3 years.

If you don't have mathematics at the 10+2 level then there are some colleges in India which select the candidates for BCA without any requirement of mathematics. These college are listed below

Madurai University, Madurau Tamil Nadu

Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra Haryana

Maharshi Dayanand University, Rothank, Haryana

Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut Uttar Pradesh

So you can also apply in the above colleges if you are not eligible in Delhii university.

Regarding BCA Admission

Eligibility for BCA is Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Class

XII with English/Class XII from a recognised University.

So, you are not eligible for this.

Admission in DU for BCA

Delhi university doesnot offer BCA courses , it offer B.Sc courses.

So i suggest you that try from Amity university.
