Admission procedure and requirements to study MS(Taxation) in The Kogod School of Business?


I am planning to study MS in Abroad. I have heard that The Kogod School of Business is offering finest MS(Taxation). So, I would like to know about the admission procedure for this course. Kindly tell me about the requirements also. Thank you!

Admission procedure and requirements to study MS (Taxation) in the Kogod School of business:

Steps to Apply -

1) create an account in the American University Application System.

2) Begin your application.

3) Submit your application and pay application fees of $100 USD non-refundable application fee.

4) Submit supporting documents.

5) Once all of your uploaded supportive documents, letter of recommendation and any required test scores have been received, the admissions office will notify you that your application is complete.

6) If you feel your application is complete, but have not received any email you can always contact the admissions office at [email protected]

Requirements to Study MS (Taxation) in the Kogod School of Business:

1) Applicants currently in an undergraduate program are eligible to apply, though an undergraduate degree must be conferred prior to matriculation to the kogod graduate program.

2) A current copy of your resume is required and must be uploaded in the supplemental items section of the online application.

3) A statement of purpose is required. The prompt for statement of purpose is:

Tell us about your decision to pursue a graduate degree or certificate at the kogod school of business. How does this degree help you to achieve your both short term and long term goals? What skills will you combine with this degree to achieve them?
Expected length: 750 words (approximately).

4) One letter of recommendation is required.

5) Transcripts detailing your academic records must be provided for all under under graduate and graduate institutions attended.

6) You are required to submit a GMAT (Graduate Admission Management Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Admissions) score.

7) Candidates who online application have passed the initial screening phase, they will be called for interview.
Candidates who reside outside the DC metropolitan area will be interviewed by video via Skype.

8) Applicants whose native language is not language is not English, they should have completed any one of the following exams:

a) TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign language)
Minimum required score of 100 or higher is required for the IBT (Internet Based Test).

b) IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Minimum score of 7 or higher is required.
