Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), one of the top universities in the world is conducting a common entrance test (CET-2012) for BDS course. GGSIPU invites all the candidates who are interested to get a seat in BDS course provided by the university. This university is well recognized and approved by the UGC. Structure of GGSIPU CET BDS test

The common entrance test will be a 3hrs duration test. The question paper would be in English medium and constitutes of 200 questions in objective type format from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 3 marks will be rewarded for each correct ones and 1 mark will be reduced for the wrong ones.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should possess Indian citizenship and should be not less than 17 years as on 31st of December, 2012. The candidates should have passed 11th and 12th standard with core subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized school within the National Capital Territory of Delhi and should have a minimum average of 50% marks together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% in case of SC/ST candidates).

How to Apply?

Admission brochure along with the application form is available in all the Indian bank branches for Rs.1000. The same can also be obtained via registered post for which a request has to be send along with some particulars, the details of which is given in the university website.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants are advised to refer the admission brochure and make themselves aware of all the necessities before filling the form. The candidate is required to fill the application form by themselves, legibly written in English only and in block letters. The candidate should ensure that he/she is eligible and if any found ineligible at any level of the selection procedure their candidature will be canceled without any notice. The candidate should fix a recent attested photograph in the place marked for it.

How and Where To Get the Results?

The list of candidates who will qualify the CET -BDS -2012 would be displayed on the official portal www.ipu.ac.in on 24th May, 2012. No separate notification will be sent on this effect to the candidates.

Score Validity

The score of the GGSIPU common entrance test for BDS has a validity of only for 1year.
