Eligibility requirement and Admission Procedure:

PG Courses:

For getting into the PG courses offered by the institution, candidates must have completed their degree in any discipline with at least 50% of aggregate marks except for MBA (CMU), which is 60% in the qualifying examination. Even, candidates in the final year of their degree course can apply. Admission to the PG courses is done based on the GMAT/XAT/MAT/CAT/GOT or GIM online test, followed by GD and PI. Weightage of 60%, 25% and 15% respectively for GIM, GD and PI exams.

UG Courses:

Minimum educational qualification requirement is 50% of aggregate marks in 10+2 examination. Admission will be based on marks secured by candidates in UGAT/GAT/GOT (GIM online test) and weightage will be 20%, 40% and 40% respectively for these exams.

Application fee:

For PG courses, candidates with CAT/XAT/GMAT and MAT score will have to pay an application fee of Rs.1000 for boys and Rs.600 for girls. In case, candidates do not have any of these scores, they will have to apply for GIM Online Test with an extra application fee of Rs.250 (i.e.) Rs.1250 for boys and Rs.850 for girls. For UG courses the application fee is Rs.1000 for boys and Rs.600 for Girls. The fee can be paid either in the form of cash or in the form of DD and in case of DD payment, DD should be drawn in favor of GITAM University in any scheduled bank payable at Vishakapatnam.

Entrance Test:

The entrance test conducted by the GITAM University and the name of this examination is GOT, which means GITAM Online Test conducted online.
