State governments in India contribute lion’s share towards the development of animal husbandry sector. However, the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries has however, been operating 30 central livestock organizations and allied institutions for manufacture and distribution of high quality germ plasma to the state governments for genetic upgradation and cross breeding of the stocks. Educational qualification:
