B.E/B.Tech qualified graduates in any of the engineering streams like Mechanical, Production, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Chemical, and Information Technology are usually considered for Graduate Engineer profile in Matwork Technologies. B.Sc (engineering) graduates or MCA graduates are also eligible to apply. The selection for this post is based on an objective model written examination, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. During the final selection process, 50% weightage is given for written exam, 15% for group discussion, and 35% for personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Engineer Post in Matwork Technologies

Candidates need to complete B.E/B.Tech graduation from a recognized institute or University. Engineering degree must be obtained in any of the following streams –

  • Production engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Instrumentation engineering
  • Information Technology engineering
  • Industrial engineering
  • Electronics and Electrical engineering
  • Electronics and Communication engineering
  • Computer Science engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Chemical engineering
  • Automobile engineering

Apart from this, B.Sc (engineering) graduates can submit applications for the graduate engineer post. MCA qualified candidates from any of the recognized Universities are also eligible to apply. The higher age limit specified for this post is 28 years. It is compulsory to obtain a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying graduate or post graduate degree to apply.

Selection Process for Graduate Engineer Recruitment in Matwork Technologies

In order to get selected for Graduate Engineer post, candidates must undergo the following selection procedures which is as follows -

  • Stage 1 – Written Examination
  • Stage 2 – Group Discussion and Personal Interview

For written exam, a total weightage of 50% is specified. An individual weightage of 15% is given for group discussion and 35% is given for personal interview respectively.

The written examination will be conducted for a total of 150 marks, which candidates need to complete within a time limit of 3 hours. An objective type of written test is conducted as part of selection and comprises of the following sections –

  • Basic Numeracy and Data Interpretation - 20 marks
  • English Language and Comprehension skills - 20 marks
  • General Mental Ability – 20 marks
  • Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability – 10 marks
  • Technical questions (related to the specific specialization branches) – 80 marks

Candidates who are capable of clearing the written examination can participate with further selection procedures. Based on the marks secured in written examination, candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview. Communication skills ans attitude of the candidate is basically evaluated from this sessions. Candidates will get finally selected on the basis of the weightage specified for each section.
