Profile:

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was established in 1960. The main aim of the ISRO is to develop and spread space technology and its application to various national chores. ISRO has launched two major space systems. One of the space system is INSAT which is used for communication, meteorological services, and television broadcasting. The other space system launched by ISRO is the Indian Remote Sensing Satellites (IRS) system which is used for resources monitoring and management. ISRO has found two satellite launch vehicles called PSLV and GSLV. PSLV is used to position INSAT space system in the required orbit, and GSLV is used to position IRS system in the required orbits.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) invites application from eligible candidates for the Group-A Gazetted in DOS/ ISRO Centers / Units, and non-Gazetted Posts in NE - SAC, Shillong, Megalaya.

No. of posts: Gazetted Posts - Administrative Officer - 7, Accounts Officer - 5, Purchase & Stores Officer - 5; Non-Gazetted Posts - Administrative Officer -1, Accounts Officer - 1

Pay Scale will be Rs. 15600 - 39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400

Eligibility:

Age criteria should be -upper age limit is 35 yrs (Relaxable as per rules)
