Gujarat government along with the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conducts this GUJCET Medical Entrance Test (GUJCET Medical Exam) every year. The successful candidates will be given admission in many leading medical colleges under the government of Gujarat. Also there are many private colleges who give admission from this entrance exam. All the interested eligible candidates can apply for the exam.

Structure of GUJCET Medical Exam

The questions will be asked from physics, chemistry and biology. The number of questions in biology section will be higher when compared to the other two sections. Questions from chemistry will be more when compared to physics. Marks will be distributed likewise. Marks will be reduced for all the answers which are incorrect.

Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who have studied biology, physics and chemistry in the 10+2 level can only apply They should have scored minimum 50% marks in each subject in the public exam.SC/St candidates and many other reserved candidates are given relaxation in marks. Some of the seats reserved for candidates from other states.

How to Apply?

Forms for the entrance exam can be obtained from the different schools taking part in the GUJCET Medical Exam. Rs.250 is the cost of the form. For getting the application form through post applicant should send a DD of Rs 250 in favour of Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar to the same address. All the forms should reach the concerned office before the deadline.

How to fill the Form?

Read all the details given in the prospectus. All the information given in the form by the candidate should be genuine. Candidate should not forget to put signature and affix photo in the form. All the documents submitting with the form should be duly attested. Applicants who registered through online should not forget to send the DD

Important Dates (Tentative)

  • Exam will be on the month of April, 2012
  • Application forms are available from the month of January, 2012
  • Last date for submission of application form is in the month of March, 2012
  • Results will be published on the month of May, 2012
