Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya offers the candidates with Ph.D programme in various disciplines. The admission to this doctoral course would be done on the basis of performance in the institute conducted entrance exam.

Structure of Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Ph.D in Zoology RET

The RET will be a written test of 120 minutes duration. It comprises of 100 objective type questions which is mainly intended to evaluate the subject consciousness of the candidates. The maximum mark that can be scored in the exam is 100.  There shall not be any sort of negative marking for the wrong answers. The percentage of marks needed to get qualified for the research programme would be 50%.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have done with their master’s programme or equivalent are eligible to apply for the Research Entrance Test (RET) in Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya. They also have to secure at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC / ST/ PH candidates) in the main subject or in an allied subject.

How to Apply?

The candidates can obtain the application form from various concerned centres of the institute by fee payment of Rs. 800/-. One can also obtain the same via post. The payment of fee can be done either by cash or demand draft which is drawn in favor of Registrar, Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya payable at Haridwar.

How to fill the Form?

The applicants have to pay intense attention while filling the form. All the columns have to be filled furnishing the appropriate data. One should also write their name and main subject along with code number on the rear side of the DD. Moreover, make sure that the name, DOB and other details furnished matches with that in the 10+2 certificate. Also while entering address and phone number, no error has to be committed.
