Hi-Point College of Engineering & Technology works under the control of the Hi-Point Educational Society that was registered in 2001 under A.P. registration Act of 1350. The college is situated in the Ranga Reddy District of the Andhra Pradesh State and it is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, (JNTU) Hyderabad.

The undergraduate courses available in the college are B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering), B. Tech (Computer Science & Information Tech), B. Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering), and B. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering). The duration of the courses is four years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, are eligible to apply for the B. Tech courses. The candidates willing to get admission for the B. Tech course under  the State Government Quota, must get qualified in the EAMCET Exam, and the candidates willing get admission for the B. Tech course under Management Quota must get qualified in the MEMCET exam conducted by PCMB, Hyderabad
