The Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology was established under the section 3 of the UGC in 1956. The institute is one of the oldest technical institutes in India and has a reputation all over the country. Admission Procedure:
The admission is done on the basis of the marks obtained by the individual candidates in their 10+2 exams or its equivalent exams or board. For appearing in B.E. Candidates are selected on the basis of availability of the seats for the various courses. They need to fill an application form in order to get admission in this institute. For applying in M.E/M. Tech courses one must have at least a bachelor degree and they also have to secure higher ranks in the exams.
