Delhi University conducts post graduation medical entrance test for medical students. This test is conducted every year. The students are supposed to be admitted for various medical and dental courses on the basis of the score in the entrance test. Entrance test is held at different places all over Delhi. Individual who wish to fill the application online can get the detail information on filling the application form from the website itself. The candidates should also make sure that they attach the required certificates with the application form. The details of the required application form will be given in the application form. Applicants should also ensure that the details about them filled in the application form are relevant. Clear and recent photograph of oneself has to be affixed on the application form.

Exemptions to be taken care while filling the form

There are certain exemption provided for scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward classes. According to this, there is 15 % seat reservation for Scheduled Caste and 7.5 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes. There is also reservation up to 27% for other backward classes. There is also a reservation of 3%  for candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category.

Importance dates

Usually Delhi University Post Graduation Medical Entrance Test application forms are made available by the university by the mid of December in the office of Delhi University. The application forms need to be filled and submitted by February.

Acknowledgement of exam application form

With the application form there will be an acknowledgement card. The applicant should neatly fill the acknowledge card and send it to the concerned address. Once the application form reaches the concerned office, the acknowledge card will be sent back to the applicant. Applicants, who submit the application form by hand, should collect the acknowledgment card at the same time. Some time the application form may be rejected by the office authority because of insufficient information. In such cases they will inform the candidate about rejection of the application.
