General guidelines for preparing for Audiologist Entrance Exams

All students must have an understanding about why this exam is important. Getting good marks will ensure an admission in a good institution in addition to a better future for students. Finish studying all portions within the time you have allotted for yourself. Never let yourself over step this mark. Use the extra time you have to simply go through all portions once again. Never become stressed or tensed. This is the fundamental rule students must keep in mind.  Focus is also another vital aspect required for all candidates.

Exam pattern

The time available for students to finish attempting all the questions is 3 hours. 200 objective type questions with 3 – 4 options will be asked in this paper. Negative marking for wrong answers is there for the exams.

Set up a full proof study plan

A good study plan is required to enhance the level of performance. The study plan must be structured in such a way that students get enough time to cover all their portions and have time to rest as well. To make their study session are stress free, students can allot time for different portions. More time can be given for difficult parts and easier parts can be finished afterwards.

Ladders in preparing for the Exam

The study plan for the exam must be planned judiciously. Besides this, students must make it a point to follow a time table. Each section must be studied as planned. It must not be kept aside for later. Doing this will only make the students lose more time. A good acquaintance with the study materials will ensure the students ability to answer any question in the exam. One other thing all students must guarantee is to take rest at right times. If they get tired or stressed out they won’t be able to focus.

When they are studying, aspirants must be in a place that is free from all distraction. But make sure there is no mirror in the room. They can also listen to some light music after they study for some time. Good music will decrease the level of stress to some extend. Practicing on model test papers is also another good idea. They can measure the time they take to complete each question and try to understand their weaker areas better.
