The Indian Statistical Institute is one of the most recognized Institute in the nation and offers JRF or Junior Research Fellowship programme in the Economics Subject. Indian Statistical Institute is a very huge name and students have to really work hard in order to crack the entrance test. Junior Research Fellowship programme in Economics is a unique programme and is offered by very few of the institutes and that too the brighter students.

Outline of the Paper

There are two parts or division in the paper. The candidates have to answer both the parts. The questions are set from the entire modules which are taught to them.

How the paper looks like

The First part of the paper has a maximum of thirty objectives based question, and candidates have to answer all. Each of the Objective based question, carries a total of four options and candidates have to choose any one. There are a total of twenty Objective based question belonging from the Economics Modules, where as ten from other modules of the syllabus. The second paper carries a total of eighteen main questions, and candidates have to answer all. There are six modules, each carrying three different main question. Candidates have to answer any two from each of the module of the paper. Both subjective as well as Essay or Long answer types question can appear in the second part of the exam paper. Candidates have to answer the entire question in the English Language.

Full Marks

The total mark of the paper is One hundred.

Time allotted for the examination:

The time duration for each of the paper is two hours.
