Department of Information Technology & Communication was incorporated with the aim of e-development of the country as the engine for transition into a developed nation and an empowered society. The functions of the department includes promotion of information technology and interaction in Information Technology related matters with Internationals agencies and bodies. Shri Kapil Sibbal is the honourable minister for Communications & Information Technology. Promotion of standardization, testing and quality in Information Technology is also an important function performed by the department.

Job Profile:

Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts of Informatics Assistants in Department of Information Technology & Communication. Candidates will be posted in various departments of Rajasthan Governments.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post is 21 years as on 1 January 2012.
The maximum age limit set for the post is 35 years as on 1 January 2012.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories (and are also domicile of Rajasthan), may get relaxation in the prescribed upper age limit set for the post. Candidates having age more than the upper age limit, should not apply for the specified positions.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or Electronics from a recognized university established by law in India, is the minimum educational qualification required for the post. Those candidates, who possess Post Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Application or 3 years Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic institution, are also eligible to apply for the post of Informatics Assistant.

A Bank Draft of Rs. 350 is need to be sent as application fee alongwith the application. Only General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit Rs. 350 as application fee. Rs. 150 is the amount of application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates of Rajasthan. The Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited or RKCL payable at Jaipur. Name of candidates, application number, name of the post, category and mobile number are need to be written on the backside of the bank draft.

Printout of the system generated application is need to be sent alongwith an affidavit and bank draft of requisite application fee to the below mentioned address.
