There are plenty of colleges in India that are offering management courses to the aspiring students. However few of them are still unique and special. They have a different vibe in them, something different that makes them extra ordinary. One such Institute is ISFS.

ISFS was amongst those institutes that believed in providing excellent knowledge in a bit different form, from the rest of the institutes. The approach of the institute was a bit different from the rest of the renowned institutes in the country. Probably that made the institute so much popular amongst the management aspirants.

ISFS conducts an admission process for admission to its two year full time MBA programmes: MBA (Finance), MBA (Investment) and MBA (Banking) and its MS(Finance) programme. ISFS provides MBA & MS programmes of ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. ISFS’s campuses are located at Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Candidates are shortlisted for MBA/MS (Finance) programmes of ISFS on the basis of their CAT/XAT/IBSAT/GMAT scores or the candidates can also apply for ASMAT.  Candidates have to also apply separately for admission in ISFS. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in these exams have to appear in a further selection process consisting of a Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.

Eligibility criteria:

The interested candidates should be a graduate and should have a graduation degree of bachelor’s level from some well recognized institute of university of India. The candidates should have brought 50 in aggregate throughout in their graduation examination. Those appearing in the final year can also apply for this institute.

Availability of Application forms:

Application forms for MBA/MS (Finance) programmes of ISFS will be available online and can be downloaded through the website www.isfsindia.org. Candidates have to send the completed form along with a demand draft and copies of all marksheets and scorecard of the entrance test. Candidates can also apply online through the same website and payment can be made through credit card.

Important Dates:

Last Date for Receipt of Completed Forms: beginning of March, 2011

Interviews: mid of April, 2011

Selection process:

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/XAT/IBSAT/GMAT/ASMAT scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Personal Interview.  Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in written test, Personal Interview, Work Experience and Academic Record.

    I AM 30YRS .I HAVE COMPLETED MY GRADUTION THIS YEAR IN 2009 IN ECONOMICS WITH 47% OF MARKS.I AM UNEMPLOYED.I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ARE MY PROSPECT FOR GOVERNMENT SERVICE AS WELL AS IN PRIVATE SERVICE AT THIS AGE .I ALSO FURTHER WANT TO CONTINUE MY STUDIES IN ECONOMICS THROUGH DISTENCE EDUCATION.PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT TO DO.
