ISPAT College, Rourkela came into existence in the year 1978 and it was converted as a degree college in the year 1980. The college earned recognition from UGC under section 2(f) and 12(b) in the year 1990 and accreditation from the NAAC in the year 2006 with B grade rating. The college earned temporary affiliation from the Sambalpur University in the year 1980 and it was permanently affiliated to the university from the year 1988. The campus of the college is provided with a wide range of facilities.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to all the courses is done based on the past merit, while in the case of BBA course, admission is done based on test conducted by the college. Reservation of seats will be based on government norms. Seats available in the college for commerce course is 192, arts course is 128 and science is 160 seats.

Application forms along with information brochure can be obtained from the office of the college on payment of Rs.30 or by post by sending DD for an amount of Rs.90 drawn in favor of the Principal, ISPAT College, Rourkela from SBI, Rourkela Township Branch, Rourkela. Duly filled in application forms should reach the college within 15 days from the date of publication of results either by person or by speed or registered post.
