Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Research offers Project Oriented Chemical Education (POCE) along with Project Oriented Biological Education (POBE) programmes. The Institute offers this course specifically for candidates who are undertaking the under graduate course of graduation in the first year only. The candidates who will be selected as through a close casket system of selection  process are offered a wide range of opportunities in the several research based projects as well as lectures in various centers. The Institute has offered ten seats for the selection in both of the two programs. The program is usually held in the summer months and extends to a period of eight weeks divided into three individual sessions. The Centers offers scholarship to these candidates.

Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Research stands has been recognized as a deemed university and was established n the year 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, an elite organization under the Government of India. It is directly funded by the Government of India and offers master degree to candidate in the research oriented programs concerning in the field of Science. The candidates are also awarded the degree of Ph. D in either of the subject of Chemistry or Biology.

Eligibility Criteria:

Project Oriented Chemical education (POCE):

The applicant must be studying in the 1st year of BSc. with PCM as subjects.

Project oriented biological Education (POBE):

The applicant must be studying in the 1st year of BSc. in any science stream.

Application Forms:

Application forms will be available by post on request from the centre. Candidates can also download the form through the website www.jncasr.ac.in. Candidates will have to submit the completed application form along with two confidential reports from the Referees and also attested copies of mark sheets.
