Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Ph.D in Civil Engineering Entrance Exam 2012
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology conducts Ph.D programmes in a variety of specializations such as Material Science and Engineering, Management, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering. The doctoral level programmes provides an opportunity for the students to reveal their independent, analytical as well as innovative thinking that leads to the creative utilisation of the acquired knowledge. The scholars have to publish their work on a regular basis and also have to give seminars according to progress in their research.
Structure of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Ph.D in Civil Engineering Entrance Exam
The pattern of the examination differs for each subject. The examination comprises of questions from the core subject areas of the master’s degree programme. A written test is carried out in order to assess the depth of the knowledge as well as the potential of the candidate to fetch the research activities. The examination is of 150 minutes duration. There will be a total of 100 questions and the candidates have to answer all the questions.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should hold a master’s degree in Technology with around 60% marks. They must have obtained the master’s degree through regular mode. The aspirants should also possess good academic records so as to appear for the examination.
How to Apply?
First of all the candidate have to download the application form from the website of the Jaypee Institute of information Technology. The duly filled in application forms must be sent to the Registrar, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10. Sector- 62, Noida, UP, 201307. A demand draft of Rs 500/- must be attached along with the application form. The form should be sent in favor of the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and it must be payable at New Delhi.
How to fill the Form?
Before filling the application form the candidates are advised to read the guide lines that are given in the admission brochure. They are supposed to fill the forms by following these guide lines. The students have to specify the examination centre clearly in the application form. The candidate will not be able to make any changes in the data that has been already entered in the form. After filling the application forms completely, the candidates have to attach all the relevant documents and a DD of prescribed amount and it should be sent to the University.

Once the examination is over the candidate has to think in a positive manner about the results of the examination.
The candidates have to take care of themselves. They have to visualize themselves as a complete person and not merely as a test taker. The students have to follow a balanced diet with proper exercise and recreational activities. Don’t forget to take sufficient breaks in between your studies.
