The Mechanical Engineering course is an important branch of engineering as it is a core branch and most sector of engineering required this degree. The branch is required in various companies and sector. It applies the principles of physics and material sciences in design, construction etc.

Mechanical Engineering-Managerial Economics and Financial Analysis Paper of JNTU is a subjective paper. Total number of questions in the paper is 8 and candidates have to attempt only 5 from it. Each question is of equal marks. The paper is of descriptive type and contains short notes, difference, and elaboration type questions.  Question in the paper has 3-4 sub-questions of it except long answer type questions. 3 questions in this paper are of very long answer type, 2 questions are of long answer type. The paper is descriptive type and need to be answered within the time.

Maximum marks which can be obtained in the paper are 80 and time allotted for this paper is 3 hours. The questions in this paper are of equal marks but some questions are of 3-4 sub-questions whereas 3-4 questions are of long answer type questions. Each question carries 16 marks.
