Pay scale of Tea manufacturing Sector

The pay scale may be different for different workers and will depend on the type of work. For some works, the starting salary will be in the range of Rs.6000/- to Rs.8000/- per month. Some of the workers will be paid on daily work basis. Their wages will be in the range of Rs. 100/- to Rs.150/- per day. They are the least paid ones. They may be paid based on the hours they work. For high grade officers the starting salary will be in the range of Rs.1.5 to 2 lakhs per month. The high grade officers include Managers, Engineers, HR’s and Directors.

The laborers’ are the ones who suffer a lot in the tea manufacturing industry. They have to work a whole day in the sun, but they are paid very less, also they are not provided with extra benefits. The high rank officers are the more benefited ones. They are the ones who earn more among all. The workers who come in between the laborers and the high rank officers have a salary scale that is comparatively better and they get sufficient benefits also. The work load is also not very high for them.
