Competition Commission of India was established under the Government of India. The commission is responsible of enforcing the Competition Act, 2002 throught India. The commission is responsible for fulfilling the objectives of the Competition Act, 2002. The major objective of the act is to protect the interests of the customers and ensure the freedom of the trade in the markets of India. The commission is comprises of a Chairperson and six other members and all these appointments are made by the Central Government. The competition commission of India is responsible to make markets work for the benefit of cutomers.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant positions of Joint Director (Economics) and Office Manager in Competition Commission of India. The post of Office Manager is available in the disciplines of Finance & Accounts, Corporate Service and Library Service. recruitment of candidates will be made purely on direct basis only.

1. Recruitment of Joint Director (Economics).

Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 35 to 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Economics or Statistics or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also posses atleast 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.

2. Recruitment of Office Manager (Finance & Accounts).
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 28 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also posses atleast 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Office Manager (Corporate Service).
No. of posts: Only 9 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 28 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates should also posses Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or Secretarial Practices.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

4. Recruitment of Office Manager (Library Services).
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 28 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or equivalent from a recognized university. Candidates should also posses atleast 3 years experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only. However, no application is need to be submitted by the SC/ST/Women/PH candidates. The submission of the application fee must be made through the means of Demand Draft or Pay Order only. No other means or mode of submission of aplication fee is acceptable. The demand draft should be drawn on any scheduled bank only. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Competition Commission of India (COmpetition Fund) Account payable at Delhi.
