National Institute of Health and Family Welfare was established as an apex technical institute under the Government of India. The institute was funded by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The institute actually came into existence in the year 1977 as a result of the merging of National Institute of Health Administration and Education and National Institute of Family Planning. The major objective objective behind its establishment was to promote the health and family welfare programmes in the country. Applications are invited in the prescribed performa from Citizens of India for filling up the vacant Group C posts in National Institute of Health and Family Welfare. The vacant positions are Junior Hindi Translator, Stenographer Grade-III, Lower Division Clerk, Technical Assistant Production, Electrical Supervisor, Laboratory Assistant, Data Entry Operator and Driver.

1. Recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Stenographer Grade-III:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

3. Recruitment of Lower Division Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

4. Recruitment of Technical Assistant Production (Publication):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

5. Recruitment of Electrical Supervisor:

6. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant:

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

7. Recruitment of Data Entry Operator Grade-B:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

8. Recruitment of Driver (Ordinary Grade):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, NIHFW payable at New Delhi. The demand draft should be drawn on State Bank of India only. The name and address of the candidates alongwith the name of the post applied for, should be written on the backside of the demand draft. Candidates falling under the categories of SC/ST/Handicapped are exempted from the payment of application fee. Women candidates and Departmental candidates are also exempted from the payment of fee.

How to apply: Completed application form in the prescribed format alongwith the copies of certificates or testimonials are required to be sent in an envelope only. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of _____________”. The envelope should reach to the below mentioned address on or before the last date.
