Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited or APTRANSCO Limited was founded in the year 1998 under Government of Andhra Pradesh. The coproration has its headquarter located at Hyderabad, India. Sutirtha Bhattacharya is the present Chairman cum Managing Director of the corporation. This Government owned corporation PSU aims to do power trading in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The company was unbundled into transmission corporation and four distribution comapnies. The corporation has also retained with the powers of controlling system operations of the transmission of Power in state.

Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the following vacant posts of Junior Lineman in Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited on regular basis. The posts are available in various zones i.e. Vishakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Warangal, Kadapa, Civil, Hyderabad Rural and Hyderabad Metro. Selected candidates will be recruited on probation for a period oaf two years.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Sub Engineer is 18 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Sub Engineer is 35 years.

Candidates are required to follow the above specified age criteria for being eligible for the post of Junior Lineman in Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited. Relaxation of few years in the upper age limit will be provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC categories as per the rules and regulations of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the candidates for the post is SSLC or SSC or 10th standard with ITI qualification in Electrical Trade or Wireman. Candidates should have done their specified qualification from a recognized board or institution. Selection Process:

Candidates will have to appear in the different tests or stages of the Selection Process for ensuring their selection on the specified post.
