Quota for admission:

Out of the total number of seats available for each branch of UG and PG courses, 70% of seats are filled based on EAMCET/ICET/PGECET score and according to the guidelines issued by the Higher Education Council of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Balance 30% of the seats for each course is management quota seats filled by the management of the institution.

Admission Criteria:

As far as UG courses offered by the Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, admission of students is done based on the Engineering & Medical Common Entrance Test Score of the candidates. On the other hand, admission to PG engineering courses is done based on the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test score of the candidates. When it comes to MCA and MBA admissions, ICET score is taken into consideration and these rules are applicable for A category seats.

Several multinational companies have accredited Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science for offering placement opportunities and the training & placement section functioning in the institute is acting as a liaison between the best performers of the institution and the prospective employers. The institute regularly invites corporate teams to visit and conduct campus recruitment and ensures that the on-campus stay of the corporate team would give them a pleasant experience. Recently, nearly 85 students of the institution were selected by the Tata Consultancy Services on campus recruitment, which clearly indicates the performance of the students of the institution.
