Karnataka CET Biology Papers
The Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the Common Entrance Test every year for the candidates who aspire to get admission to the various medical and engineering colleges. Students who want to pursue courses like medical, dental, homeopathy, ayurveda, unani, naturaopathy and yoga have to sit for the PCB test of the CET.
The Common Entrance Test consists of four papers- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. You can select a subject combination according to the course you want to opt for. Candidates who want to pursue the courses mentioned above have to sit for Biology, Chemistry and Physics and who want to pursue Engineering or Technology or Architecture have to sit for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry papers.
The Biology paper is of duration of 1 hour 20 minutes and carries a total of 60 marks. The questions are objective types, each with four options. Out of these four only one is correct. Each question carries one mark. No overall choice is there. It is advisable to attempt all the questions. There is no negative marking in the paper. Do not give multiple answers to a single question. This is treated as wrong answer.
The syllabus of the exam is same as that of the First and Second PUC syllabi.
