Profile:
Western Railway being one of the biggest and busiest railway networks in the world, offers outstanding service in a neat and contented manner. The railway is headquartered at Churchgate situated in the city of Mumbai. Western Railway provides train management system that enables customers for real time checking of western railway PNR status and western railway trains schedule.
Job Profile:
Applications are encouraged from interested and eligible former-military men from the post of Khalasi by the Western Railway.

Pay Scale - Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1800
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – Candidates coming under un-reserved category must be between the age group of 18 and 33, for candidates coming under other backward caste the age criteria is 18-36 years and for candidates falling under scheduled caste and schedule tribe category, the age limit is 18-38 years.
Qualification - Ex-Serviceman must have retired after 15 years of successful service. The candidates must have passed Army Class-I certificate or its equivalent. For getting qualified for the position, candidates must be medically fit enough.
Selection Process:
The candidates are selected for the post based on their qualification and experience. Selected candidates will have to pass the medical fitness test. Western railway will not conduct written examination or interview or physical efficiency test.
