The subject History has always been included as an integrated section in the courses of Bachelor’s degree. History subject not only makes us discover the past but also brings out the revolutionary changes that had occurred in the past through various movements and events. History of Modern Europe describes the affects and movement that had occurred in Europe during the medieval periods.

Paper Pattern

The Kuvempu University B.A in History-Paper-V: History of Modern Europe (From 1789 to the Present) Question paper is divided into three parts. Each section has numerous questions with choices and is divided into subjective type questions. In the first section, there are four questions out of which the candidate has to answer only two. In the next, there are eight questions out of which only four questions are needed to be answered. In the last section, there are four questions out of which only two are required. All questions are duly aligned and allotted with marks along with the accordance of the syllabus.

Frequently asked Questions

The frequently asked questions are usually extracted from the central European section and emphasis is given mainly on the central countries of Europe like Germany, France, Spain and Italy. French revolution is mainly asked and World War is also brought up. Various questions on famous leaders and their movements are also emphasized upon. These questions are the basics of the question paper, complex questions are also extracted from the previous year’s question papers. Questions related to wars are also brought to the present papers.

Maximum Marks and Time Allotted

The maximum marks given in the paper and that can be obtained are 80 which are to be answered accordingly to the compulsory and optional questions. First, second and third section is divided into 30, 40 and 10 respectively. The maximum time allotted for the completion of the paper is three hours.
