The branch of science that is concerned with the study of the disorders that might occur to the human hearing system is called as Audiology. Physicians who practice this science are called as audiologists. The basic qualification needed by an individual to apply for the graduate level course (B.Sc in Audiology) is a pass in class 10+2. Those who are going for advanced studies need to write an entrance exam to get an admission into this.

After the completion of their studies, audiologists will need the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) or Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA) certification to start their practice.

Exam pattern of the Audiology course

The exam will have duration of 90 minutes. The paper will consist of questions with multiple choices. Negative marking of 25% is there for wrong answers.
