Biological engineering involves the application of scientific principles and methods in diverse aspects of biology and medicine. The stream of engineering is also called as bioengineering. Actually, biotechnology and bio medical engineering have evolved from the field of biological engineering. Department of Bio Sciences and Bioengineering under IIT Mumbai offer this course as combination of bio medical and biotechnology courses. Exam Pattern of Biological Engineering Entrance Exams

The exam pattern of this entrance test includes multiple-choice questions. Undergraduate entrance exams include questions on physics, chemistry, or mathematics based on the syllabus of 10+2 class. The syllabus of higher degree‘s such as M.Sc, M.Tech or PhD include topics that are covered during the qualifying graduation degree.
