International Institute of Information Technology at Hyderabad is shortly called as IIIT-H and it is an autonomous university established in the year 1998 with support offered by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The university was established as a result of the vision of Sri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who was the Chief Minister of the state of AP from the year 1995-2004 to bring the city of Hyderabad into the world Information Technology map by creation of a prominent university for research in information technology.
