Dietetics can be studied by aspirants at the graduate and postgraduate levels. To join the PG level course in Dietetics, it will be required by students to write an admission test that is held by a recognised body.

A graduate degree in the relevant field with above 55 percentage marks in the finals is required for aspirants to apply for the PG program. This graduate degree can be in areas such as food and nutrition, dietetics or any other allied fields.

Exam Pattern for the Dietetics Exam

This examination will have a single paper. This paper shall consist of 8 core questions. Here, the first question is subdivided into two parts.

  • Part I – 5 parts
  • Part II – 10 parts

The 2nd and 3rd papers shall contain 2 sub questions each. 5th, 6th and 8th questions shall encompass 5 parts and 4th and 7th parts will include 3 sub parts. No internal options shall be given to students to choose from. The 1st question asked is important and aspirants can do any 4 questions from the remaining 7 questions.

The paper shall carry a total of 100 marks. Every main question asked shall consist of 20 marks. The time allotted to complete answering all questions is 3 hours

How to Procure Applications for the Dietetics Exam?

Exam forms for the Dietitian program could be availed by aspirants from the admission counter of the institutions participating. It could be got by post as well.
