Security trading is the financial activity that involves the transaction of property like currency, bonds, commodities and stocks. Security can be defined as a fundable and a negotiable instrument that possess a financial value. Securities can be classified broadly as debt securities and equity securities. The former is about debentures, bank notes and bonds while the latter is concerned with derivative contracts and common stocks. The individual company or entities that issue the security are known as the issuer. Candidates who wish to apply for this course must appear for an entrance test that is set by the respective institutes. It will consist of essay writing and group discussion. The selection of the students will be on the basis of their marks scored in this examination. Those students who are chosen will be called for a meeting later.
