The branch of medicine combined with Chemistry and Biology that deals with the study of the unfavorable effects of chemicals in living creatures is called as Toxicology. This branch of medicine includes the examination of symptoms, the mechanisms, cure and the discovery of poisoning, especially in human beings. The qualification needed by one to appear for this exam is a graduate degree in medicine. They should also possess a membership with the Medical Council of India.

Exam Pattern for the Toxicology Entrance Exam
The examination will have 300 questions with multiple options. The subjects asked in the exam will encompass topics such as:
- Clinical subjects
- Para-Clinical
- Pre-Clinical
One must finish answering all questions within a time limit of 3 and 1/2 hours. Correct answers provided will be awarded 4 marks and for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
