Profile:
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Stenographer in Uttarakhand region of Employees’ State Insurance Corporation.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be less than the prescribed minimum age limit set i.e. 18 years and also not more than the prescribed maximum age limit set i.e. 27 years. Age relaxation is available as per government rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates are required to be atleast 12th passed from a recognized board for applying for both the posts in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation.
No. of posts:
Lower Division Clerk: Only 18 posts are available.
Stenographer: Only 2 posts are available.
Pay Scale:
Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
Stenographer: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400
Selection Process:
The selection process for both the specified posts includes a personal interview session with the selection committee. Candidates are required to perform well in the interview test in order to get selected.
How to apply: Rs. 225 is needed as application fee for General category candidates and Rs. 25 for reserved category candidates. Candidates shoudl make a demand draft of the prescribed application fee drawn in favour of The Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Dehradun payable at Dehradun. Application forms must be sent by Registered post or speed post to the prescribed address before the last date of the reciept of application form.
