Lucknow University MD Entrance Exam is conducted by Lucknow University for the selection of eligible candidates for the MD Ayurveda course. This exam is conducted by the University for the admission of the candidates into the MD Ayurveda course offered by Rajkiye Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Avem Chikitsalaya, Lucknow (Lucknow University). The duration of the course is three years.  Numerous candidates are applying for the test each year and the exam expects high competition.

Structure and Syllabus of Lucknow University MD Entrance Exam

The selection of the candidates for the MD Ayurveda course in Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Avem Chikitsalaya will be through the entrance exam. The test consists of questions of three papers. The test will be in an objective type format. It includes 300 multiple choice questions. The time duration of the test will be three hours for each paper. The first paper includes questions from the subjects that the candidates studied in their BAMS course curriculum. There are four options given for each questions. The correct answers from the given alternatives have to be selected by the candidates and should mark the appropriate bubble in the OMR sheet.

Eligibility Criteria

There are certain requirements necessary for the candidates for getting admission for the MD Ayurveda course offered by Lucknow University. The applicants should require a BAMS degree from any recognized University. They must have to complete their one year. The candidates must undergo a compulsory internship after their course. The applicants should have registration in Indian Medical Council or State Medical Council. The candidates fulfill all the eligibility requirements can apply for the MD course in Lucknow University

How to Apply?

The application form and information booklets are accessible from State Ayurveda College and Hospital in Lucknow. The candidates can obtain it from there by the payment of the application fee. The cost of the application fee is Rs.1500/- for the general candidates and Rs.1000/- for the SC/ST candidates. The candidates can pay the fee directly by person or in the form of Demand draft or cheque in the name of the Principal of State Ayurveda College of Lucknow. The application form can also obtain by pot by sending a request letter and a demand draft to the Principal of Lucknow University.

How to fill the Form?

The form should be filled according to the guidelines provided in the exam prospectus. The form should not be wrinkled and folded.  The form should be filled with great care. No any correction should be possible later. The candidates have to take the photo copy of the form and filled it before filling the original application form. The name of the candidates should be filled as per in the matriculation certificate. The Demand Draft of the application form should be sent to the concerned authority along with the application form. The incomplete application form and application reached after the last date will not be accepted

Study Plan

The candidates have to prepare a study plan for the exam two months before the exam. Then only they can cover almost all the topics for the exam. The syllabus for the exam will be published in the website. The candidates should be familiar with all the topics of the exam. Split the topics into complicated and simple portions. The difficult portions will be divided into small sections and it makes them cover the topics more easily. Previous question papers are available in the website. Collect those question papers and practice with that. With this the candidate will know about the pattern of the exam. Also the time needed for completing it will be known. Revising each topic at a regular interval is a must. It helps them to memorize all the topics. This will help them to win the exam.

The results of the exam will be available from the website www.lkouniv.ac.in. The students should watch the website frequently for getting all exam related news.

Score Validity

The exam score is valid for one year. For the admission for the next academic year another exam will be conducted.
