Science is the subject which comes under the compulsory subject in Class 10 in the Madhya Pradesh board. It is a very important and interesting subject as it is the base for higher studies.

Division of the Paper:

The paper is divided into two groups, Section A and Section B. section A has all the questions of objective type whereas in Section B all questions have only internal choices.

Time allotted for the examination and marks:

The total time allotted for the examination is three hours and the maximum marks that could be allotted for the paper is 75.

The Paper pattern:

The question is available in both the Hindi and English medium. Instructions are given at the beginning of the question paper. All questions are compulsory. There is a total 14 questions in this paper.  Section A consists of only 2 questions. Questions 1 & 2 have sub sections and 1 mark is allotted for each question. Section B consists of 12 questions, ques. 3-9 carry 4 marks each. Ques. 10-12 of this section carry 5 marks each while the remaining ques. 13 & 14 carry six marks each. The total marks allotted or this paper is 75.
