Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad College was established in the year 2009 and it is located at Aurangabad. The college is coming under the jurisdiction of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University right from its inception.

B. Sc information technology & Computer Science:

For getting into the B. Sc IT & CS offered by the college, the candidates must have completed pre-degree science course with five science subjects of the University of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by higher secondary board. Otherwise, candidates might also have completed the prescribed examination at the end of the second year of the junior college conducted by the Maharashtra Government’s Higher secondary board with mathematics/biology, physics, chemistry, English and second language.

BCA & BBA:

For getting into the first semester of the BCA and BBA course offered by the college, candidate must have completed her/his higher secondary commerce/science/arts from the state board of Maharashtra or other equivalent examination.

Admission Procedure:

For all the above-mentioned courses, the college is conducting common entrance examination under the supervision of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, which is conducted every year in the month of July. The examination is divided into three stages that include written test, viva-voce and group discussion.

Facilities in the college:

The college has provided three well-furnished computer labs with 25 systems that are connected with the help of Ethernet. These systems are loaded with latest OS and software programs that are of great use to the practical education of the students. A library is also functioning under the college and it offers book bank schemes for meritorious and poor students.
