Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre was started by the Maitri Educational Society that was established in the year 2004. The college is approved by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi and it is affiliated to the Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

Maitri College of Dentistry is situated in Anjora at Chhattisgarh and it equips multi-specialty Hospital with sophisticated infrastructural facilities to ensure the best treatment to the patients. The college offers excellent education in dentistry with self-sufficient academic complex and highly proficient teachers.

Courses offered:

The Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre offers the undergraduate programme in dentistry –  BDS (Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery) and the duration of the course is 5 years.

The college is planning to start post graduate course shortly.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have successfully passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination (with science stream) from a recognized Board with at least 50% aggregate marks are eligible for getting admission into the BDS course in the college. In order to get admission for the BDS course, the candidates must get qualified in the AICET (All India Common Entrance Test) conducted by Association of Private Minority Dental and Medical Colleges of Chhattisgarh (APMDMCCG).

Infrastructure:

The college has excellent infrastructure facilities including well equipped library, laboratories, computer lab, internet connectivity, cafeteria, hostel facility, extra-curricular activities, and transportation facilities. Each department of the college has seminar room equipped with audio-visual aids and an up-to-date library for academic discussions.  The college has rehabilitation centres with all the facilities to the staff, house surgeons, and students for conducting dental camps.

The college has state-of-the-art laboratories in all departments including Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Paedodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics & Maxillofacial Prosthetics, Community Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, and Dental Anatomy, Histology & Pathology departments.
