Company profile: It is a reputed and one of the premier mining companies in India. It is a public sector enterprise and has been given the status of a NAVRATNA organization. This company works under the ministry of steel. It is also setting up a 3 million tonne steel plant in Chhattisgarh.

Job profile: The managers will be required to work in various disciplines such as mechanical, civil, electrical etc. They will be required to manage the work and the activities of their respective departments and also manage the employees under them.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 50 years for the post of an AGM (E5) and Sr. Manager (E4) and 45 years for the post of a Manager (E3) and a Deputy Manager (E2). However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications:

For Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Instrumentation – A candidate must have a first class engineering degree in any of the above 5 disciplines with a minimum experience of 13 years for the posts of AGM, 10 years for the posts of Sr. Manager, 7 years for the post of manager and 4 years for the post of deputy manager in operation and maintenance of a major steel plant unit like coke ovens, raw material handling unit etc.

For Materials Department – A candidate must have a degree in arts/commerce/science with an MBA or PG diploma in material management with an experience as stated above.

For Commercial Department – A candidate must be a graduate with an MBA or PG diploma in marketing/foreign trade/sales management or an engineering degree or CA/ICWA.

No. of posts: The are 62 posts in total which include 30 for UR, 18 for OBC, 9 for SC, 4 for ST and 2 for PWD)

Pay scale: The pay scale for an AGM will be Rs18500-23900, for a Sr. manager it will be Rs17500-22300, for a manager it will be Rs16000-20800 and for deputy manager it will be Rs13700-18250.

Selection process: The candidates will have to go through an interview.
