MANIPAL UGET 2010 Medical Engineering
MANIPAL University, Karnataka invites all the applicants for admission into Medical and Engineering courses. Admission into these courses will be done on the basis of All India Manipal University Online Undergraduate Entrance Test 2010 (UGET 10) which will be conducted around mid of April, 2010.
How to apply:
As soon as the application forms are out, the candidates are required to collect it either in person from the mentioned places or from the internet. The candidates can apply online, and follow the procedure for submitting application online. Candidates can pay the application and entrance test fee through Credit Card/Net Banking or Demand Draft, whatever is convenient to them as per their choice.
Another way for applying for the course is by the application material can be purchased from Manipal University Admissions office by writing to the following address by enclosing a request along with a Demand Draft for Rs.500 drawn in the name of Manipal University made payable at Manipal or Udupi or Bangalore.
Availability of Application form:
The application forms for Manipal UGET 2010 are available on the internet. Candidates can download the application form from the website of the Manipal.
Apart from that the application material is also available at selective branches of State Bank of India. Te list of branches can be availed from the website.
The application materials are also available at selected branches of MeritTrac Offices.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Candidate must be an Indian for applying into any of these courses.
• Candidate should not be below 17 years of age.
• Candidate must have cleared high level education.
For admission into these courses, all courses have different eligibility:
• MBBS/BDS: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum of 55 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition, candidates will have to score a minimum of 50% marks in the UGET 09 for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.
• B.Pharm: Physics, Chemistry and English with one of Mathematics, Bio Technology, Computer science or Biology as optional with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects.
• B.Sc Nursing: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum of 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
• B.Sc Biotechnology: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with one of Bio Technology or Biology as optional with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects.
• BPT/BOT/B.Sc, MIT/BSc, NMT/B.Sc, MLT/B.Sc & RT: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• B.Sc OPT/BASLP/B.Sc AEC: Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Mathematics as optional with a minimum of 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional.
• BE: Physics, Mathematics and English with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer science or Engineering Drawing as optional with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
